Terms and conditions of delivery

The following apply to all our work activities, depending on their nature:

Transport

The General Terms and Conditions of Transport 2002 (GT&C Transport 2002, 2015 version), as filed at the Registry of the District Court of Amsterdam under number 81/2014 and at the Registry of the District Court of Rotterdam under number 2/2015, in the case of cross-border transport of goods by road in addition to the CMR treaty. For tanker/silo transport: the General Terms and Conditions of Tanker Transport by Road, as filed at the registries of the district courts of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, including Article 8 about arbitration.

Storage and associated work activities/warehousing:

The Terms and Conditions of Physical Distribution, as filed at the registries of the district courts in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

Forwarding work

The Dutch freight forwarding conditions: the General Terms and Conditions of FENEX (the Dutch Organization for Forwarding and Logistics) as filed at the registries of the district courts in Rotterdam and Amsterdam on 1 May 2018, excluding Article 23 about arbitration.

Payments

For activities to which the above-mentioned terms and conditions do not apply, the general terms and conditions of payment of Transport en Logistiek Netherlands will be used, as filed at the Registry of the District Court of The Hague on 2 July 2002 as deed number 69/2002.

Claims should be submitted within 8 days of the invoice date.

The payment term used for all our work activities is a maximum of 30 days after the invoice date, except for:

Import duties and VAT on import: a payment term of 2 days after the invoice date
For other costs relating to importing containers: a payment term of 7 days after the invoice date

The most recently filed version of the above-mentioned terms and conditions will apply. The terms and conditions will be sent to you free of charge on request.
