The Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route, or in other words, the European agreements about international road transport of hazardous goods. The French is quite a mouthful, so in practice everyone just refers to the ‘ADR’. The ADR categorizes hazardous goods into nine hazard classes. We are allowed to transport classes 2 to 6, 8 and 9. In practice, our silo trailers are only used for transporting class 9, which includes environmentally hazardous materials. In other words, we do not transport toxic substances.
Our drivers have their own individual ADR certificates and the vehicles used for transporting hazardous substances have been approved. That means we can transport your hazardous goods safely for you.
If you would like to know more about ADR, take a look at the RIVM website (the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). You can find useful information here about hazardous substances and transporting them.
